Credits and usage limits
Understand AI credits, monthly allowances and preview time.
Read your current balance
Check the credit balance in your account before starting a long task. AI work can include conversation, generation and automatic follow-up steps. The same available balance limits that work; a fixed message length is not a reliable estimate of its cost.
The current monthly free allowance is 25 credits. It resets on the first day of the month in UTC and does not accumulate. Purchased credits and subscription entitlements have their own rules; consult the current pricing page and your account rather than assuming they are part of the free allowance.
When credits are insufficient
The task outcome and recorded usage show what was accomplished and consumed.
- Read the task outcome to see what completed and what remains.
- Inspect any available files, preview or external result before retrying.
- Use the recharge or plan option in your account if you want to continue.
- Resume with a precise request for the remaining work to avoid repeating completed actions.
Other limits are separate
Free preview time is limited to 300 minutes per month and is separate from AI credits. Connected providers can impose their own API, storage, hosting, build or messaging limits and charges. Adding MaShop credits does not remove a provider’s access or quota restriction.
