Preview and publish an application

Review your application in the workspace, then choose how to host its public version.

Use preview for review

The preview runs the application so you can check layout, routes and interactions before publishing. Startup can take longer when the environment needs to restart. Check the project’s preview status rather than assuming an empty frame is a finished page.

Free accounts have a monthly allowance of 300 preview minutes. Preview time is separate from AI credits. A preview environment is for development and review; it is not a promise of permanent public hosting.

Check before publishing

  1. Visit each required page on desktop and mobile.
  2. Test links, forms, validation and any connected data with appropriate test records.
  3. Check that sample content and placeholder actions are clearly replaced or identified.
  4. Choose the hosting connection available for your project and review its access and usage limits.
  5. After publication completes, open the public URL and test it separately from the workspace preview.

Separate hosting from other connections

GitHub stores the source repository. A database service provides the data features your application needs. A hosting provider serves the public deployment. Connecting one does not connect the others.

MaShop has a native Netlify integration. If you want another provider, discuss the required connection and deployment steps with the assistant. An alternative is not ready merely because its name appeared in a response. Your provider may charge for builds, runtime or traffic under its own plan.
