Invite people and share a project

Choose collaborator access and verify the link you send.

Invite a collaborator

The project owner can open Share, enter the recipient’s email and choose Editor or Viewer. Send the invitation to the account the recipient will actually use. The invitation link expires after seven days; an expired or revoked invitation must be replaced by the owner.

The recipient signs in using the invited email address. Signing in with another address does not accept the invitation. If the email does not arrive, check whether delivery succeeded rather than assume that a success notification means it reached the inbox.

Choose the access you need

Editor and Viewer are the available invitation roles. Choose the least access needed for the collaboration. Sharing project access does not grant unrestricted access to every connected account or remove the approvals required for external actions.

Agree on who will change files and restore versions. Avoid simultaneous conflicting edits, and check the repository and project state after important changes.

Verify a shared link

The Share panel offers a link that may use the deployment URL when one exists. Open the copied link in another browser session before sending it to a client. Check its destination and what an unauthenticated visitor can see.

An invitation, a working preview and a published application are different forms of access. A label in the Share panel is not proof that hosting is ready or that a preview will remain available permanently. Never include credentials or private customer records in a public demonstration.
